I’m really on a roll this week, here’s another great couple I had the pleasure of photographing last month.  It was a bit of a rainy but unseasonably warm day, Kaleigh’s hair looked too cute (and Mitch’s too), and we had an umbrella . . .  all was well!  Mitch and Kaleigh wanted a little bit of urban and a little bit of nature, downtown Akron areas provided a bit of both.  And the fall colors were perfect especially since they will be getting married next fall in Myrtle Beach where the scenery will be much different!  It’s definitely fun to get engagement photos done in a different season or climate from the wedding photos. This is exactly what we were after!

Can’t wait for their October Beach Wedding in 2013.

It’s definitely Boudoir Week on the blog this week, with this 3rd post for a little while.  This session took place at a hotel, which is always a preferred location as it usually has white sheets, cool bed, additional seating and nice fun decor.  For this session we of course used my, by now famous, apron thingy as well as a super fun wig that the client brought along with her own lingerie and accessories.  All in all this was another great session.  This lady will be getting married later on this year, and I’m super excited to not only be her boudoir photographer as well as her wedding photographer. xoxo

Erin + Steve | Cuyahoga Falls Wedding Photography

Last Saturday was one of those amazing fall days perfect for an amazing fall wedding.  I had the great pleasure of working with Cynthia Marie Photography at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls.  Erin & Steve chose to have both the ceremony and reception in one location which made it convenient for everyone and allowed more time for photography . . . always a HUGE plus!  We had plenty of time before the ceremony for the “first look” as well as bridal party and family photos.  Here are just a few of my favs from this great day! If you’ve been following my blog, you know how I felt/feel about my dog.  If this is your first time here, know that I LOVED my dog more than anything and loosing him 3 months ago was horrific!!!!  I still think about him everyday and miss him crazy!

About a month ago I was randomly browsing on etsy (as I’m sure many of you do) and came upon Emma and her Midnight Blue Jewels shop.  It’s really amazing how many spectacular vendors there are out there.  And Emma is definitely at the top of the list.  All the jewelry in the shop is handmade by her in her studio all the way in London.  She can even take a jpg photo and turn it into a silver charm pendant.  Well of course I had to have one with my sweet boy’s face on it.  I placed the order right away, emailed my favorite photo, and waited.  A couple days ago there was a package at my front door, when I came home.  I knew exactly what it was and I tore it open . . . caveman style.  Inside was the nicest little box with what I knew would be my most treasured possession.  I was right and couldn’t be happier with the end product.  She even etched his name on the back . . .  I adore it ♥!!!!  Emma, I can not thank you enough for this beautiful pendant that I will treasure forever.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Greg + Cherrie Engaged | Akron Engagement Photographer

Greg and Cherrie enjoy going to wineries so we decided to head out to Wolf Creek Winery for their engagement session.  It’s such a lovely spot and we ended up with pretty great evening sun to boot.  They both also love their Chuck Taylor sneakers so we had a little fun with those.  Yes there’s a little “Chuck Love” between them!

And in case you are wondering about the mustard colored blanket, no I did not knit it.  I found it at the thrift store for $4, it was such an awesome score and might be showing up in future sessions as well.
