This was a little pre-session session! My friend and fellow photographer Arielle, has been wanting some headshots for her website etc. etc., and the timing never seems to work out. So last sunday we made a trip to Cleveland for the Boutique Bridal Bazaar. Which btw, was pretty fantastique, and the Salted Carmel Cupcake from “A Cookie and a Cupcake” was to die for (I had two), and the red velvet wasn’t too bad either. Ok, I had 4 cupcakes, don’t judge!!! But obviously I digress . . . so yes Arielle, headshots. Really quickly since it was pretty cold, windy, and scary we got these few shots. Isn’t she adorbs? Real session coming soon!

Julia | Akron Children & Family PhotographerJune 28th, 2011I’ve had a chance to photograph Julia a couple times already. When she was 6 months, 1 year and now at 18 months. This cutie pie is only getting cuter, sweeter and more fun, if that is even possible. She was such a good sport as we looked for new shooting locations and walked around [...] |

She was such a good sport as we looked for new shooting locations and walked around in the Nature Realm in Akron. By the way, how awesome are those pig tails? Super duper adorable. Enjoy!
And one of big brother Thor. This guy is such a nice boy, and such a huge baby, and he has the softest ears = LOVE!

Beard | Cuyahoga Falls Portrait PhotographerMarch 14th, 2011I’ve been meaning to blog about it for a while now, with the time change and springing forward it seems like perfect timing, and it’s definitely blog worthy. I’ve been meaning to blog about it for a while now, with the time change and springing forward it seems like perfect timing, and it’s definitely blog worthy. So here we go . . . right after Thanksgiving my husband decided to grow a beard. Why? Who really knows? He’s never had a beard, he a) wanted to see if he could grow one and b) wondered if it would connect to his mustache. It was quite a hilarious and dramatic event in his life our lives, emphasis on the dramatic part. He researched and googled beard websites (yes they do exist, google it). He watched it grow, he took vitamins to help it along and we sat patiently and watched the miracle come to life. By Christmas he had a full beard. It took a month, but it was glorious!!! He was so proud, people actually didn’t recognize him and it almost became a game to see who would. While at the peak of it’s glory, he requested a quick photo shoot to mark the event. By quick I mean he was wearing shorts with the jacket and literally gave me 5 minutes to work with. But I did it and I’m pretty happy with these few images. Unfortunately, as of a week ago, the beard has been shaved. He is sporting his new summer look and vaguely resembles Tico Torres (drummer from Bon Jovi), sideburns and all. Ok I’m probably the only person that thinks that, well I know I’m the only person that thinks that :O) Enjoy!

Sam, who contacted me to do this session is actually one of my friends from my knitting group, so it was especially nice to see her since I haven’t been able to make it to any meetings lately, and I love my knitting group. Sam and the whole gang thanks for a fun afternoon and I’ll have the rest of your images done real soon!
