What can I say about these two, they are so stinkin cute and nice I can’t take it.  I really don’t know how I end up with such awesome clients.  Originally our session was scheduled for the previous Sunday, but it ended up being a very dreary, rainy, and windy day.  I want my clients to really enjoy our time together and have fun, so we rescheduled.  Luckily we were blessed with the most gorgeous make-up day ever.  I think we were all thrilled.  Tyler and Rachelle have been dating for a 5 years now and are planning their awesome DIY wedding next August.  They enjoy hanging out together and spending time outdoors, their first date was a hike in the woods which they got lost at.  This time we didn’t get lost but went through some very tall brush to get to a couple of the locations we used.  And in case you didn’t notice, Rachelle is totally Gorge . . . like totally!!! I can barely stand the wait for their wedding day, seriously wish it was tomorrow!

Nate + Deanna | Akron Engagement Photographer

She was a high school senior and he a freshman in college, when they first met, while working at the Akron Beacon Journal.  It took some time but after a couple years they started dating.  Deanna ended up joining Nate at Kent State University, where they both graduated from.  They since have traveled and lived in other parts of the country but now they are back in the Akron area both working for the Akron Beacon Journal again.  Kind of funny how that happened.  Nate is a sports writer and covers the Browns, and Deanna edits. She told me that she prefers to edit Nate’s work, cause he’s such a great writer and she enjoys reading his stories.  How stinkin sweet is that?

We met last Saturday morning in downtown Akron for this super fun shoot.  Deanna is just too cute and has the best smile . . . we laughed the entire time.  Nate is serious, I think they compliment each other perfectly.

I’ve been wanting to try this type of shot for a while and this red wall was the perfect backdrop for this fun image.  What do you think?

We decided to meet up in Chagrin Falls for this E session the Sunday before Valentines Day.  It was a very nice day and Kitty & Matt brought along their sweet black lab who was super excited to be out and about ;o).  Matt is a history teacher and Kitty works for Depaul University, they live in Chicago but will be getting married here in Ohio.  After the session we grabbed lunch at Dave’s Cosmic Subs (Yum-O) and discussed some of the details for the wedding.  It will be a vintage theme at Botzum Farmstead with doilies, milk bottles, vests and more.  I can hardly wait for July 9th, this wedding will be amazing and these guys are just too cute.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I met up with these two cuties at The University of Akron.  This is the place they met and where they both participated on the track team.  Devin ran hurdles (check out the image below and you’ll see what a good jumper he is) and Jeanine did the pole vault.  We had a great time exploring the campus and finished the session on the track.  So much fun!  Thanks for a great morning and I’m really looking forward to the wedding in October.

Kristina & Jake are awesome and adorable and I loved hanging out with them.  
K&J wanted to bring their sweet puppy, Dakota, and I was more than thrilled. 
 Loved her carmel colored eyes and those huge floppy ears, I think I found Baci a girlfriend.
This might be my favorite from the day, just because the snow covered trees look so surreal.
