A couple weekends ago I had the great pleasure of assisting Larry Spencer from Spencer Photography at a wedding in Westfield Center. This wedding had everything, lovely bride, handsome groom, perfect venue, Mardi Gras masks, amazing speeches and a down pour during the ceremony. But a little rain wasn’t going to ruin the day. Everything went off without a hitch and the guests danced the night away.
Assisting another photographer is definitely an experience, I’ve worked with Larry one other time last year. This time around I had a giant light stick that I had to hold for most of the reception (without moving). It was definitely a challenge but I made it (and now have a greater appreciation for his regular assistant), and Larry only screamed at me like twice. Kidding . . . well sort of.
Larry, thank you for letting me assist, it was a lot of fun . . . can I please drive the red dragon again?
