I can’t have a “favorite friday” topic without eventually posting about my favorite breakfast place – Flury’s. It’s freaking the best! If you’ve never been, you’re definitely missing out. Put it on your to-do-list next week or even tomorrow. It’s not just the food (don’t get me wrong the food is AMAZING!!!!), but the atmosphere and location are fantastic too, plus they just expanded. Flury’s is located at 1300 Sackett Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls. They are open everyday from 7 until 3, except Sundays and offer both breakfast and lunch. Go “like” their Facebook page, you won’t regret it. Anywho, our first time there was over the summer, and I have been hooked ever since. I kid you not when I tell you that I can still remember what I ordered on that first visit – Red Velvet Pancakes. I even got my friend Mary hooked on them and she told me the other day “Velvet Pancakes changed my life!”. Awesome!! Your taste buds will do a happy dance after eating this concoction of two perfect pancakes with cream cheese filling and brown sugar sauce and pecans on top. They’re not always on the menu, but if you’re lucky enough to be there when they are, don’t think twice – get them! They might change your life too. Another of my favorites on the menu is the Breakfast Quesadilla, although I substitute the meat with Veggies. It’s delish!! Make sure to try the tomato coolie that comes with it (I can eat that stuff with a spoon). A place for real homemade cooking, fresh ingredients and a fun environment.
